Still alive and kicking….

It’s been a trying year so far. Scheduled projects have fallen through and new projects have taken their place. VMware definitely has not really been on my todo list which is quite frustrating. That’s the price I guess one has to pay when one doesn’t focus on a specific subset of technolgies as a job.

However, our VMware infrastructure has been rock solid, I haven’t had to spend much time handholding the infrastructure. It just works and that includes undertaking major infrastructure changes like physically relocating half the SAN and infrastructure during office hours.

We are still on vSphere 4.0 update 1. Can’t wait to upgrade to vSphere 4.1 and see what that is all about.

Hopefully, when I get more time I will be able to post more articles.
